At SkinnRhizo, we strive to provide exceptional equipment rental and production services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our audio and video equipment rental services, podcast studio bookings, and production services.
This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions. By making a booking with SkinnRhizo, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Cancellation and Refund Schedule
Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is made relative to the scheduled rental or service date:

Important: All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@skinnrhizo.com. Cancellations are effective from the date and time we receive your written notification.
3. Equipment Rental Cancellations
3.1 Standard Equipment Rentals
- Cancellations must be made in writing to info@skinnrhizo.com
- The cancellation timeframes outlined in Section 2 apply
- Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days of cancellation approval
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
3.2 Long-term Rentals
For rentals exceeding 7 days:
- Cancellations made 14+ days in advance: 90% refund
- Cancellations made 7-13 days in advance: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance: No refund
4. Podcast Studio and Facility Bookings
4.1 Studio Cancellations
- Studio bookings follow the standard cancellation schedule in Section 2
- Rescheduling may be available subject to availability (no additional charge if rescheduled 48+ hours in advance)
- Multiple cancellations may result in stricter booking terms
4.2 Partial Studio Use
If you use part of your booked studio time:
- No refund is available for unused portions of booked time
- Early departure does not entitle you to a partial refund
5. Production and Filming Services
5.1 Production Service Cancellations
- Cancellations made 14+ days before scheduled date: 80% refund
- Cancellations made 7-13 days before: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before: No refund
5.2 Work Completed
For production services where work has commenced:
- Refunds are calculated based on work not yet completed
- Completed work and materials are non-refundable
- Client will be invoiced for any work performed prior to cancellation
6. Equipment Malfunction or Unavailability
6.1 Our Responsibility
If equipment becomes unavailable due to circumstances within our control:
- Option 1: Full refund of all payments made
- Option 2: Equivalent or superior replacement equipment at no additional cost
- Option 3: Rescheduling to alternative dates with no penalty
6.2 Equipment Defects During Rental
If equipment malfunctions during the rental period:
- Notify us immediately at info@skinnrhizo.com or by phone
- We will provide replacement equipment or arrange repair
- Pro-rata refund for the period equipment was unusable (if replacement not possible)
- No refund for user error or misuse
Note: Equipment is tested before rental. Refunds for malfunctions require proof that the issue was not caused by client misuse or negligence.
7. Weather and External Circumstances
7.1 Adverse Weather
- Weather-related cancellations follow the standard refund schedule
- We recommend obtaining event insurance for outdoor productions
- Rescheduling may be available subject to equipment availability
7.2 Force Majeure Events
In cases of force majeure (pandemic, natural disaster, government restrictions, etc.):
- Full refund or credit note valid for 12 months
- Alternatively, booking may be rescheduled with no penalty
- We will work with clients to find mutually acceptable solutions
8. Security Deposits
8.1 Deposit Refunds
Security deposits are refundable upon safe return of equipment:
- Full deposit refund if equipment is returned undamaged and on time
- Deposits are processed within 5-7 business days after equipment return
- Deductions may be made for damage, missing items, or late returns
8.2 Deposit Deductions
Deposits may be partially or fully retained for:
- Damaged equipment (repair or replacement costs)
- Missing accessories or components
- Late return fees
- Cleaning fees (if equipment returned excessively dirty)
- Loss or theft of equipment
9. Refund Processing
9.1 Refund Methods
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for booking
- Credit/debit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account
- Bank transfer refunds are processed within 3-5 business days
9.2 Processing Time
Standard refund processing timelines:
- Refund approval: 1-2 business days after cancellation request
- Refund processing: 3-5 business days
- Bank processing: 3-10 business days (varies by bank)
- Total time: Typically 7-17 business days from cancellation
9.3 Refund Confirmation
You will receive email confirmation when:
- Your cancellation has been received and approved
- Your refund has been processed
- The refund amount and expected timeline
10. Non-Refundable Items and Services
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Consumable items (batteries, tapes, storage media, etc.)
- Delivery and collection fees (once service has been performed)
- Setup and installation services already completed
- Training sessions already conducted
- Extended technical support already provided
- Custom or special-order equipment arranged specifically for your booking
- Third-party services arranged on your behalf
11. Modifications and Amendments
11.1 Booking Changes
- Changes to booking dates may be possible subject to availability
- Changes requested 48+ hours in advance: No additional charge
- Changes requested less than 48 hours in advance: £25 amendment fee
- Equipment substitutions may be possible at our discretion
11.2 Upgrades and Downgrades
- Upgrades to higher-tier equipment: Price difference charged
- Downgrades: Refund of price difference if requested 7+ days in advance
- No refunds for downgrades requested less than 7 days before rental
12. Damaged or Lost Equipment
12.1 Client Responsibility
If equipment is damaged or lost during your rental:
- No refund of rental fees
- Client is liable for repair or replacement costs
- Security deposit will be applied toward costs
- Additional charges may apply if costs exceed deposit
12.2 Insurance Claims
If you have equipment hire insurance:
- We will provide necessary documentation for insurance claims
- Clients remain liable until insurance settlement is confirmed
- We may charge administrative fees for insurance documentation
13. Disputed Charges
13.1 Dispute Process
If you dispute any charges or refund decisions:

- Provide detailed explanation and supporting evidence
- We will investigate and respond within 7 business days
- Disputes may be escalated to management if not resolved
13.2 Chargeback Policy

- We will contest unwarranted chargebacks

- Faster processing than cash refunds
